A quick video opened Shockwave showing both Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels speaking about their chances in tonight's match. Highlights were then shown from their previous encounter which took place back in October of last year. The video ended with scenes from the attack by King's Road on Samoa Joe last week, with Daniels wearing Joe's Championship belt.

Last Man Standing
Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam

» Jericho came to the ring in his Street Fighter Jeans ready for a fight. Jericho swung a chair for RVD's head, but Van Dam ducked through and dropkicked Jericho at the knee. Rob then placed the chair on Jericho's back and quickly ran the ropes and hit the Rolling Thunder. Rob turned Jericho over and went for the cover, only to remember they didn't count. Rob picked the chair back up and when Jericho got back up to one knee, he threw it straight into his face.

» The referee reached a five when Jericho used the ropes to get back up. Rob then attempted a backdrop, but Jericho rolled through and kicked Rob in the back of his knee. After dropping several elbows across the knee, Jericho placed the chair around it and stamped on it after coming from the second rope. Jericho set up a table at ringside infront of the announce table but Rob hit a baseball slide, knocking Jericho over the announce table and into the lap of Jim Ross.

» Rob removed everything from the announce table, but Jericho shoved JR's cowboy hat in his face, blinding him and allowing Jericho to kick him. Rob came back with a clothesline and laid Jericho onto the table before climbing to the top rope. Before he could hit a Frogsplash, Jericho kicked the ropes, knocking Van Dam down. Jericho then stood himself and Van Dam on the table before hitting an amazing Backdrop, sending them both crashing through the announce table.

» Both men seemed down for the count, which the referee began to administer. But as the referee's count reached six, Chris Benoit came through the crowd and began helping Jericho to his feet. Since the deal was that if anyone interfered, Jericho would win, the referee could do nothing to stop Benoit. Benoit tied Jericho up in the ropes which held him up long enough to survive the referee's count. The referee then had no choice but to declare him the winner.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Aftermath:

Once Chris Jericho had been declared the winner of the match, Chris Benoit returned to ringside and carried Jericho to the back. Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels jogged down to check on Rob who was being attended to by the medical crew. Rob soon got back to his feet and recieved a generous standing ovation from the crowd for his efforts before also being helped to the back.

Backstage:

Christopher Daniels was shown preparing for his huge match tonight with CM Punk and Homicide in the background. Homicide asked Punk what the deal was with the letter that he was given two weeks ago from the new boss, because he seemed pretty pissed off about it. Punk said that he didn't really want to bring it up tonight and cause bad vibes, but the new boss wants the Global Tag Team Championships to be defended at Sunshine State Showdown against Paul London and Spanky. Daniels turned around and said that he was going to be main-eventing that show as Undisputed Champion, so how could he also defend the Tag Titles? Punk said that was what also pissed him off because it was just another example of people trying to hold the good guys down. He told Daniels and Homicide not to worry about the match because when he faced Paul London tonight, he wasn't planning on allowing him to make it to Orlando.

Backstage:

On this very special night, Mean Gene stood with the Undisputed C4 Champion, Samoa Joe to talk briefly about his upcoming title defense against the 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels. Joe said that he didn't see tonight as anything special, because as far as he was concerned, tonight was just another night at the office, and Christopher Daniels was just another victim to add to the growing list. Joe then asked Mean Gene a question; what made Christopher Daniels so special anyway? Chris Benoit had three chances at the title and failed each time, Randy Orton hasn't been seen since falling to the Samoan Submission Machine, and the Legendary Shawn Michaels hasn't been the same since their meeting. So why does Christopher Daniels think he's going to be any different to any of those? Samoa Joe vowed to once again choke Daniels out!

Singles Contest
CM Punk (w. Homicide) vs. Paul London (w. Spanky)

» Paul London found himself destracted when Homicide spat on Spanky at ringside. This allowed Punk to clothesline him from behind and start the match with the advantage. Punk drove his knee into the side of London's head and hit Backdrop before getting a two count. Punk then dragged London to the corner by his boot and wrapped his knee around the ring post but quickly returned to the ring before Spanky could get to him. Punk again covered only for a two.

» Punk continued to work on the knee of London, which seemed to do the trick because as London began to fight back, he attempted a second rope dropkick but failed to get any elevation from his damaged knee. Punk began to get very frustrated after yet another two count after hitting the Pepsi Twist. He held onto London's leg when Spanky jumped onto the apron. Homicide quickly pulled him back down, but London used the destraction to roll Punk up for the three.

Winner: Paul London

Aftermath:

Punk quickly rolled through and tried to grab Paul London, but before he could even work out where exactly he was in the ring, London had already rolled under the bottom rope and ran up the ramp with Spanky. Homicide and Punk argued with the referee, trying to tell him that London had grabbed Punk's tights, but the referee was having none of it. Homicide seemed to be fine by that until he suddenly decked the referee, knocking him to the floor. Punk then helped the referee back up but only so Homicide could set him up and drop him with the Cop Killa. Security and more referees ran down to the ring to help him as Punk and Homicide just looked on.

Backstage:

Back in the Royal Court, 'King of Old School' Steve Corino was sitting by his Queen when they were approached by Maria Kanellis. Maria cut right to the chase and asked Corino if he was going to accept the challenge set out by Petey Williams to meet him inside a Steel Cage. Steve said that he understood Petey was a barbarian, but feared that he was biting off more than he could chew in his little mouth. Corino said that he accepted the challenge because he knew that he would be able to finish Petey off once and for all, and he would do it all for his Queen.

Backstage:

Paul Heyman grining from ear to ear stood with his clients KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji standing either side of him. Paul said that as big as tonight's Championship match was, the match next week was twice as big because it would be the signal to start a new era in the GWA. Next week in Los Angeles, Jushin Liger's reign comes to an end and the Paul Heyman administration begins. Paul also said that when they return to Japan in March, there will be crowds as far as the eye can see waiting to see them return, because KENTA and Marufuji are bigger stars under the wing of Paul Heyman, and not being held back by the has been, Jushin Liger.

Undisputed C4 Championship
Champion, Samoa Joe vs. 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels

» The match started out with both men trying to feel eachother out, not wanting to make the first move incase it was the wrong one. Eventually Daniels went for Joe's leg, but Joe quickly caught him with several clubbing forearms to the back. Joe whipped Daniels in the corner and took him off his feet with a huge clothesline, knocking him down to the seated position. Joe sized Daniels up for the Running Face Wash, but Daniels managed to get out of the ring just in time.

» Outside of the ring, Joe followed Daniels, but Daniels played possum and turned around to knock Joe from his feet with a right hand. Daniels dragged Joe towards the wreckage of the announce table and attempted to suplex him onto it, but Joe countered with a Suplex of his own dropping Daniels onto the protective mats. Joe rolled Daniels onto the apron and then dropped an elbow across his forehead. Back in the ring, Joe whipped Daniels hard into the corner.

» Joe attempted to send Daniels into the opposite corner, but Daniels countered with an irish whip followed by a running knee to Joe's face. Daniels then sent Joe into the opposite corner and attempted the knee again, but this time Joe had it scouted and hit an ST-Joe. Joe ran the ropes and landed a Senton across Daniels' chest and covered for a two. Joe sat Daniels on the top for a Muscle Buster, but Daniels slapped Joe across the face and hit a Tornado DDT.

» Daniels waited for Joe to get back to his feet before hitting the Angel's Wings! Daniels covered but somehow Joe raised a shoulder before the three. Joe then began to fight back with several slaps and chops of his own, but Daniels hit back with an STO into another two. Daniels then set Joe up for the Last Rites, but Joe countered that into a Northern Lights Suplex for yet another two count. Both men were now finding it hard to quickly get back to their feet.

» Both men reached their bases at the same time, but Joe blocked a right hand from Daniels and slapped him across the face. Joe then ran the ropes and attempted a running boot to the face but Daniels side-stepped him and Joe kicked the top turnbuckle. Daniels pulled Joe out by his foot and took him down with a Dragon Screw before hopping up the turnbuckles with the Best Moonsault Ever! Daniels hooked the leg and the referee counted the three before Joe could kick out!

Winner, and NEW Undisputed Champion: Christopher Daniels

Aftermath:

Daniels looked as suprised as the crowd was when the announcer declared him as the new Undisputed C4 Champion. Samoa Joe slouched down in the corner, shaking his head trying to come to terms with losing the title that he had held for nearly five months. Homicide and CM Punk ran down from the back and celebrated with Daniels, holding him up on their shoulders. King's Road eventually left the ring and made their way to the back, leaving Samoa Joe in the ring. The crowd began chanting his name and gave him a standing ovation as he finally left aswell.
