Announce Team: Jim Ross and Tazz
Attendance: 19,012

"Samoa Joe has been with the Global Wrestling Alliance for short of a year, and he has already made quite the name for himself, defeating such names as Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels along the way. Although Joe has only been with the company for ten-months, he has worn gold for six of them which is a honour known to a small group of people. Gaining momentum with each stride that he takes, Joe has built up an aura around him, one of legendary proportions. Only now is the attention of Randy Orton fully gained. Randy Orton claims he is quite the killer of lengends and few would dare to argue with him. Defeating such names as Terry Funk and Ric Flair, he has certainly earned the name he has given to himself. Samoa Joe is the new generation of legend and Randy Orton will do his all to kill him off quick, and to become Undisputed Champion!"

Black for PlayStation 2 presents.. CyberSlam 2

Stone Sour's "30/30-150" played through the loud speakers as the pyros exploded to the delight of the huge sell-out crowd in Los Angeles. Once again, Jim Ross and Tazz welcomed the fans who had tuned in to watch the show on TV and reminded them of what had happened just 48-hours before when Chris Benoit defeated Steve Austin, removing him from power in the GWA.

Singles Contest
Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho

» As the two men stepped out to the middle, Jericho extended his hand as show of respect to Kurt, but when Kurt went to shake the hand, Jericho slapped him across the face. Angle turned and took Jericho down to the canvas and began striking Jericho across the head. The two rolled around the ring, fighting for the advantage and eventually rolled out of the ring. Jericho got his knee into Angle's ribs and slammed him face-first onto the announcer's table top.

» Jericho attempted this for a second time but Angle countered, slammed Jericho's face into the table top and then performed a German Suplex onto protective mats outside the ring. Back in the ring, Angle hit another German Suplex and then removed his straps and looked for the Ankle Lock, but Jericho kicked out of the hold. Jericho pushed Angle into the corner and began hitting him with knife-edge chops followed by a huge Superplex from the top-rope.

» To take the referee's eye away from the match, Jericho slid a chair into the ring and as the referee turned to throw the chair out of the ring, Chris went to kick Angle between the legs but Angle grabbed hold of his ankle. Angle then twisted Jericho's ankle and locked on the hold as Jericho screamed and tried to crawl towards the nearest rope. Angle pulled Jericho back to the centre of the ring and grapvined his legs around Jericho's and Y2J began to tap.

Standing outside the locker room of the Rising Sons, a translator read from a piece of paper that had obviously been handed to him by Jushin Liger. He said that Jushin Liger was very proud of KENTA's dominance over Rey Mysterio, and said that he would do everything in his power to build on his performance. The note also said that Liger thought it should be a surprise to no one when Liger captures the Junior Grand Prix Championship because in the short time since arriving in the company, they have showed their superiority to the poor North American talent.

Battle of the Vixxxens
"Canadian Princess" Trish Stratus vs. Traci Brooks

» These two ladies could not wait to get their hands on one another. Traci stormed out of the corner and speared Trish down and began ripping at her hair. Trish battled back to her feet but Traci still had grip of her hair and threw her across the ring. Trish took her turn to run at Traci, but Traci jumped over Trish who ran face first into the middle turnbuckle. Trish staggered out from the corner as Traci rolled her up and grabbed her thong to aid her getting the three!

Winner: Traci Brooks

Mean Gene stood dressed in his finest tuxedo and spoke to Jamie Noble about the upcoming match for the Junior Grand Prix Championship. He asked Jamie how confident he was going into the match about regaining the prize that once proudly wore. Noble said that he had proved all that needed to be proved going into the match. Week in, week out he had made Styles bleed and cry like a baby, and he said that tonight would be no different. He admitted that Liger was the wildcard in the match, but he had all the confidence in the world that he would be able to take him out of the match early and then concentrate on making AJ Styles his bitch!

Global Tag Team Championships
Champions, The Hooliganz vs. The Dudley Boyz

» Paul London was still wrapped up from his trip through a flaming table from three weeks ago and started the match on the outside. Spanky struck from out of the blue, catching Bubba during a team talk with his half-brother D-Von. Spanky whipped Bubba across the ring but the move was countered and Bubba came back with a strong clothesline. The Dudleyz overpowered Spanky and kept him in their corner, using quick tags to keep him down on the canvas and in pain.

» In a moment of desperation, Spanky was whipped into the corner but somehow he stepped up onto the second rope and flipped backwards over D-Von's head. Spanky then dived and made the hot tag to London who entered with a springboard dropkick. The match quickly broke down into one huge brawl with tables set up outside the ring. Bubba then was isolated as Spanky hit him with Sliced Bread #2 as London hit the Shooting Star Press to retain the titles.

Winners, and still Global Tag Team Champions: The Hooliganz

Shockwave's newest backstage interviewer, Maria Kanellis was standing by with the current GWA North American Champion, Samoa Joe who was moments from taking on Randy Orton for the Undisputed C4 Championship. She simply asked him his final thoughts going into the match;

"Maria, being this close to the match, I have no problems being honest. Tonight in the night, you can talk all you want, but what it no comes down to is what you can do in the ring. This is the biggest night of my life and Randy Orton knows that. Hell, this is the biggest night of his life, but this is the kind of energy that he feeds on. Yes he is a little bitch, yes he is a pretty boy who has been shown the easy way through life, but he's the World Champion, not many people can claim to that. He's the legend killer, and some call me a new legend and that's fine, whatever makes Orton believe he can beat me. He is a great talent, but just that much better. No matter how fast he runs, I'll be one step ahead. Tonight, not only is it the biggest night of my life, but it is also my crowning moment, when I officially become known as the Undisputed Champion!"

Mean Gene was back in his position and was joined by the World Heavyweight Champion and the man who calls himself the "Legend Killer", Randy Orton. Unusually, Orton looked deep in thought just minutes before the biggest match of his career. Mean Gene said that we had just heard the thoughts of the "Samoan Submission Machine", and now it was time to hear the other side of the story from the other side of the ring, the thoughts of the "Legend Killer", Randy Orton.

"You know what Gene? Joe was right on the money when he said that the time for talking was over, and the time for action is now. Over the past couple of months, Joe has certainly had my number outside of the ring, but inside of the ring, nobody can stop me. You see this title belt that fits so nicely around my waist? This proves to the world that nobody can stop me when I climb through those ropes and step into the ring. Tonight in the biggest night of both our lives and the biggest night this company has seen, and I'll do anything to make sure I come out on top!"

Junior Grand Prix Championship
Champion, AJ Styles vs. Jushin Liger vs. Jamie Noble

» Blinded by his hatred for Jamie Noble, Styles ran over to his nemesis who ducked out of the ring allowing Liger to come up from behind and strike with an elbow. Liger struck Styles with some forearm shots whilst in the corner, whipped him into the opposite corner and knocked him down with a Spinning Heel Kick. Noble broke up the count and kicked Liger out of the ring. Noble then set Styles up for the Tiger Bomb, but Styles countered mid-air into a Tornado DDT.

» Styles climbed back to his feet but was knocked back down by a missile dropkick from Liger who then made a cover for two on Noble. Styles pulled Liger from Noble and hit a German Suplex and rolled through, finishing with a sit-out facebuster. Styles looked to finish things with a Styles Clash but Noble ran in with the belt and struck Styles down. Noble tried to hit Liger, but Liger dropkicked the belt into Noble's face and finished with the Crash Thunder Buster!

Winner, and new Junior Grand Prix Champion: Jushin Liger

Whilst the ring crew were making final preparations for the main-event, Kurt Angle took a camera to one side. He said that it was a crime that in the two-years he had been on Shockwave, he had only held the World Championship once. Tonight, he said, was the night that was going to change everything. He defeated a two-time champion and proved to everyone that he truly was the better man. Finally, he said that he would be watching the next match very closely, because whoever walked out with the gold should keep a watch over their shoulder!

Undisputed C4 Championship
"Legend Killer" Randy Orton vs. "Submission Machine" Samoa Joe

» Once the ring introductions were out the way and the bell sounded, Joe charged at Orton who turned his back and quickly rolled out of the ring. Joe followed the World Champion and made chase around the ring. Orton ducked down around one of the corners and knocked a surprised Samoa Joe down with a short running clothesline. Orton struck Joe across the forehead with a forearm shot and then irish-whipped him into the steel steps with quite some velocity.

» Orton rolled back in and then back out of the ring simply to break the referee's count. Orton grabbed Joe's head and slammed it down onto the steps, just trying to inflict as much damage as possible. Orton rolled Joe back into the ring and began to expose the top turnbuckle. As Orton turned back to his opponent, Joe struck out with several slaps across the face followed by a tornado chop across the side of his head, knocking Orton down to the canvas.

» Joe whipped Orton into the corner and thrusted a jumping high knee into his temple and then hit a follow-up running bulldog. Joe lifted Orton up and sat him down on the top turnbuckle and began to set up the Muscle Buster, but Orton countered with an eye-poke followed by a missile dropkick. Joe slowly climbed back up to one knee but Orton ran the ropes and struck Joe with a running knee, knocking him back down onto his back. Orton covered but only got a two.

» Orton tried to ram Joe's face into the exposed turnbuckle, but Joe fought out with back elbows. Orton came straight back with a running clothesline but Joe jumped out of the way and Orton his the steel turnbuckle. Joe then sat Orton on the top and walked down, dropping Orton with the Muscle Buster. Somehow Orton kicked out at two, but after an RKO attempt, Joe came back locking in the Kokita Clutch for a huge submission victory, making Orton tap out.

Winner, and new Undisputed C4 Champion: Samoa Joe

Aftermath:

Just as they did on Monday, the fans got to see what they had paid for and that was Randy Orton being removed from the top of the food chain in the GWA. Joe broke down in the centre of the ring and cried as both the North American and the World Heavyweight Championship belts were handed to him. The fans gave him a standing ovation as he got back to his feet and raised the titles over his head. The show faded out to black with Randy Orton wide-eyed as he stared at Samoa Joe making his way to the back with a title over each shoulder. END OF SHOW!
