QWest Center
Omaha, Nebraska
Announce Team: Jim Ross and Tazz
Attendance: 14,630
Smoke filled the QWest Center after an impressive pyrotechnic display had opened up the show. The crowd was hot going into the opening contest of the evening as Christopher Daniels and Abyss of The Oracle made their way down to the ring to take part in the Four Corners match to crown the next challengers to the Dudleyz. Before any other team was introduced, the arena lighting blacked out and Kane's music hit. The Fallen Angel was quick to exit the ring and run through the crowd, leaving Abyss to exchange rights and lefts with the Big Red Machine. Referee's attempted to pry the two huge superstars apart, but they failed and the two brawled to the back.
Four Corners Tag Team Contendership Match
Team Canada vs. Generation Next vs. The Oracle vs. Petey Williams & ???
Everyone awaited the arrival of Petey Williams' partner, who turned out to be Lance Storm which surprised everyone in the arena, even those in the actual match. While Lance match his way down to the ring, both teams took advantage of Petey who was on his own and attacked him. Once Storm entered the ring, he managed to fight off both Bobby Roode and Eric Young who tried to single him out.
Roderick Strong hit Petey Williams with a release German Suplex, and then gave Jack a boost up into the air to perform a Corkscrew splash, which only got a two count as Bobby Roode broke up the count. Roode then clotheslined Strong over the top rope, but his momentum also took himself out of the ring. Storm pulled Young out of the ring, leaving Petey Williams and Jack Evans to slug it out.
Evans tried a clothesline, but Petey ducked through and kicked him in ribs, to set up the Canadian Destroyer. However, Roode slid back into the ring with a chair and hit Petey across the skull with it, causing him and Young to be thrown out of the match. However, this made it easy for Evans to hit the 630 from the top and cover Petey as Trish held onto Lance Storm's leg preventing him to make a save.
Winners: Generation Next
Aftermath:
After celebrating their victory, Roderick Strong jumped out of the ring and pulled out a table from under the ring. Jack stomped down on Petey Williams who was sitting in the corner as Strong slid the table into the ring. The two of them began to set the table up, the Dudley Bombs dropped and the Dudley Boyz stormed down to the ring to make the save. As the Dudleyz entered the ring, Generation Next exited from the opposite side. Jack and Roderick gloated on the ramp, but soon ran away when Bubba and D-Von threw the table over the top rope and in their direction.

Ms. Keibler was waiting in Steve Austin's office, looking up at the clock. Then the door swung open and in walked the owner of the GWA, Steve Austin. Steve's face said it all, and by the looks of things, he didn't appreciate being held up. He slammed the door shut and threw his bags on the table. Keibler stood up from his chair and quickly moved out of the way, allowing her boss to sit down and relax.
"Steve, where have you been? I've been waiting for hours! We've got so much to sort out, everything seems to be happening around here all at once. I mean, what are we going to do about Spanky and Paul London? What they did last week was.. was.. I can't even think of a word to describe how angry I am!"
For the first time since he entered the room, Steve Austin actually cracked a smile.
"What are we going to do? We're going to offer them their jobs back. Watching them last week inspired me. I've never seen such determination from them, and that's why I want them back on my roster. I should of never fired them in the first place."
Stacy stood in awe with her mouth wide open in shock.
"Are you sure? Did you hit your head on the way in? Was you in hospital? Was that why you were late? Because you was in hospital with a head injury?"
"Calm down Stacy. Trust me, I've never been more sure of anything in my life"
Final Four Qualifier
'The Prophet' Austin Aries vs. Rey Mysterio
Rey started the match off with some kicks to the rib area of Aries, but Austin managed to catch one of Rey's feet, sweep him to the canvas and begin work on the injured ankle. Aries grounded Rey and twisted his ankle trying to get a quick submission victory, however Rey managed to crawl to the ropes to force Aries to break the hold. As soon as Rey let go of the ropes, Aries went straight back onto the ankle.
Mysterio used the ropes to pull himself back to his one foot, as Aries still had hold of his other one. Rey then kicked up his other foot and caught Aries with the Enziguiri kick to the side of the head, sending him face first to the canvas. Rey then rolled out onto the apron and used the ropes to springboard into the ring and "Drop the Dime" across Aries' neck, but he only got a two count from the referee.
The two men got back to their vertical bases, but Aries was quick to the punch and got the go-behind on Mysterio and attempted a German Suplex, but Rey floated through and dropkicked Aries into the ropes. Rey then called for it from the crowd, ran the ropes and hit a perfect 6-1-9 on Aries, knocking him into the centre of the ring. Rey again springboarded from the top into the West Coast Pop for the three.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

Miss Ronnie Stephens was jumping up and down with excitement. Jamie Noble and AJ Styles were both wondering what she was so jumpy about and tried to calm her down, but everytime they sat her down, she jumped right back up again.
"Oh my God! It was only a couple of weeks ago that I came into your lives, and now, what a difference I have made. You two were on the way down, you were the greatest tag team in this business, and now you're nothing. Almost a full year has passed since you last had gold, but now, thanks to me, the fans have voted in your favour and AJ, you're going to get a shot at the Cruiserweight Title tonight!"
Jamie Noble didn't exactly seem as excited as Ronnie.
"Well yeah, they voted for AJ, but hardly any of them voted for me! I thought we were a team, and now the fans are trying to split us apart, don't you see that? We're America's White Trash, not "AJ Styles and Jamie Noble", we're a unit!"
"Oh honey, don't be like that. Be happy for your friend. Don't be jealous because he's going to go onto bigger and better things without you now. Come on AJ, we've got alot of planning to do, and Jamie, just think about what you said."
AJ Styles patted Jamie on the back and then walked off arm-in-arm with Ronnie, leaving Jamie Noble with a sour look upon his face.
Non-Title Singles Contest
North American Champion, Samoa Joe vs. Colt Cabana
Colt tried to start things off in a very civil manner by offering to shake Joe's hand, but the Samoan didn't want any of it and slapped his hand away. Colt nodded his head to the crowd and then tried some mind games by showing off his "guns" to Joe, flexing his muscles, but again, Joe never flinched. Finally Colt decided to slap Joe across the face and then run away as fast as he could with Joe fast in pursuit.
As the two ran around the ring, Colt slid under the apron and hid from Joe, who looked around lost. Suddenly Colt rolled into the ring from the opposite side and dived through the top and middle rope onto Joe, knocking him off his feet. Colt got in a few punches and attempted an irish whip, but Joe countered and launched Colt into the steel ringsteps. Joe then rolled Colt back into the ring.
Colt rolled about the ring in pain and eventually settled with his head leaning against the middle rope. Joe saw this, ran the ropes and kicked Colt square in the face, knocking him back out of the ring. Joe lifted Colt onto his shoulder, walked up the steps and sat Colt on the top rope. Joe then re-entered the ring and proceeded to hit the Musclebuster. Joe then finished Cabana off with the Kokita Clutch.
Winner: North American Champion, Samoa Joe
Aftermath:
As Samoa Joe posed with his North American Championship belt thrown over his shoulder, he grabbed a microphone to make an announcement.
"A man once said that you have to make your own destiny, and so that's exactly what I'm going to do. As of now, I enter the Final Four Tournament, and once I stand on the grandest stage of them all, I will take what is rightfully mine, and that is my place at the top of the food chain as the World Heavyweight Champion."
Backstage:
Petey Williams was being checked over by the medical team backstage when Lance Storm walked into the medical room and sat down beside him.
"Look here Petey, I realise that it took alot of guts to walk away from Trish and the guys, but I also realise that it took guts to talk to me after what's happened between us, and so, I'm going to help you out. As long as it's just you, things like tonight are going to happen each and every week, unless you stand up for yourself and fight. You need your own army, and until you have one, well, it doesn't look good."
As Lance got up to leave, Petey thanked him and they shook hands.
Final Four Qualifier
Chris Sabin vs. Rob Van Dam
The crowd was going insane for the return of one of the most popular superstars ever to grace a GWA ring, Rob Van Dam. He almost seemed surprise by the crowd, and climbed to the top rope to acknowledge them, which they appreciated. Sabin run up behind Van Dam and clubbed him in his lower back, and pulled him back down to the canvas with a handful of his singlet.
Sabin pulled Rob back up to his feet and threw him into the corner where he kicked and stomped down on Rob's chest, forcing him down into the sitting position. Sabin walked out of the corner proud of what he had done, but when he turned back to Rob, he found a boot in his mouth. Sabin was knocked back, giving Van Dam time to jump to the second rope and springboard out to a calf kick.
With Sabin on his back, Rob ran the ropes and pulled off the Rolling Thunder. Rob then hooked Sabin's leg for a two count. Sabin threw a couple of punches, but RVD put his knee into Sabin's ribs and powerbombed him right infront of the corner. The crowd knew what was coming next and cheered as Rob jumped up onto the top rope and came off with the Five Star Frogsplash into the pin for the win.
Winner: Rob Van Dam
Aftermath:
Rob Van Dam celebrated from the top rope as Chris Sabin rolled out of the ring to see Paul Heyman and Shelton Benjamin standing at the top of the ramp. As Chris walked up to meet them, both Paul and Shelton shook their head and walked to the back, leaving Sabin by himself. He then looked back to the ring where RVD was still celebrating, then walked through the curtain with his head hung low.

Mean Gene roamed the backstage halls and stopped outside the locker room with the door marked "Oracle". However, someone had obviously attempted to scribble out the name with a marker pen. Gene knocked on the door, and after a dramatic pause, the door slowly opened and Christopher Daniels looked through the small gap that he had created. Gene asked for a quick interview, but Daniels said that he didn't want to be drawn out into a trap set by Kane, but once Gene assured him that Kane wasn't around, Christopher Daniels calmed down and stepped out to talk.
"You know what Mean Gene? I shouldn't have to hide out here in my locker room, simply for the safety of Kane, but I do. If I went roaming the halls like you, and I saw Kane, the things I'd do to him would take this show off of the air due to the levels of graphical violence. But I digress. Next week I will take part in a Final Four Qualifier, and just like everything I do, it all has a purpose, it all makes up a piece in the great big puzzle, and it's almost complete. I defeated the false-prophet Shawn Michaels, and then I burnt the smirk off of Kane's face, and now I'm going to become the most decorated superstar in this companies history, when I become the first person ever to hold three different titles.. the Triple Crown! People should really take notice, because whenever I say that I'm going to do something, well, I do it, so it doesn't matter if it's Randy Orton, or Chris Benoit, it has been written, so it shall be done!"
Christian's Peep Show:
Christian was standing in the centre of his lavish set, ready for another edition of his wrestling talk show, the "Peep Show". After quickly commenting on Colt Cabana's lucky win last week, and his huge loss this week, Christian turned the attention to his guests, and introduced both Randy Orton, and World Champion, Chris Benoit.
Once in the ring together, both men sat at opposite sides of the ring, which Christian didn't exactly appreciate. He said that he wanted conflict and controversy. Randy stepped up from his seat and took the microphone away from the Captain.
"Chris, I don't know you that well, hell, I can't even remember the last time we were in the same ring together, so I haven't got any personal grudge against you, however I think you've held that title way too long, and now that I've earned my shot, now that I've earned by chance to face you, that title is soon going to be in my pocession."
Before Chris Benoit could get a word back, the Y2J countdown appeared on the ovaltron and Chris Jericho made his way out to the ring. Jericho entered the ring with a microphone in his hand and stepped between Benoit and Orton.
"Listen up good Junior, before you start throwing around words like "earned", you'll need to consult the video footage of what you've apparently accomplished here. Two weeks ago, you rammed my head into an exposed turnbuckle and rolled me up for a cheap-ass victory, and now you claim to be the Number One contender? Let me tell you something you piece of crap, I held that title twice, once for six-months, and I didn't do it the cheap way. I earned victories, I earned respect, and according to my memory which always serves me right, I never got my one-on-one rematch."
Randy Orton got right into Chris Jericho's face and pushed him against the ropes. Jericho bounced off of the ropes and pushed Orton back, but Christian quickly broke up the two of them. He then told Jericho to leave because he hated people who included themselves into things that had nothing to do with them. Jericho took a step back and knocked Christian to the mat with a right hand, which totally broke the situation down. Orton jumped on Jericho, and Christian helped him with the double-team. Eventually Benoit had seen enough and joined in, helping Jericho. The two sides were soon seperated with Jericho and Benoit left in the ring.
Backstage:
Mean Gene was backstage with Shawn Michaels, asking him how he felt both pshysically and mentally after being defeated by Samoa Joe for the North American Championship. Shawn said that he never liked to think too much about a loss, because he could always pick himself back up and start running again, but he admitted that he still felt a little rough around the edges after his brutal match. And just when he thought things couldn't get any worse, Jim Mitchell appeared.
"If it isn't the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. But let's face it Shawn, I doubt you're breaking many hearts nowadays, and you're definately not a kid anymore, so let's just conclude that you're a pathetic old man.. or an old dog that needs to be put down, laid to rest. Next week, it's going to be your lucky day because you're in the Final Four Tournament with Abyss. And Shawn, I sure hope you can walk on your hands, because after that match, your legs won't be much good to you!"
Jim Mitchell cackled in Shawn's face and then walked away leaving Shawn Michaels with alot to think about going into his Qualifier next week with Abyss.
Next Week on Shockwave:
Jim Ross and Tazz announced that in next week's main-event, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit would team up with Chris Jericho to take on the team of Christian and the number one contender, Randy Orton.
Junior Grand Prix Championship
Jimmy Yang (w/ Taka Michinoku) vs. AJ Styles (w/ Ronnie Stephens)
Styles, decked out in his new up-market wrestling attired locked it up with Yang, and after the go-behind, swept his legs out from under him, and hit an elbow drop across the back of Yang's neck. AJ pulled Yang to his feet, whipped him into the ropes, and when Styles went to run the ropes himself, Taka low-bridged the top rope, causing Styles to fall out of the ring and land hard on the mats outside.
After a few cheap shots, Taka rolled Styles back into the ring for Yang to pick up the pieces. Yang hit Styles with a few rights, but then knocked him down with a jumping reverse kick. As Styles began to push himself off the canvas, Yang ran the ropes and hit a dropkick right into Styles' face. Yang then went to whip Styles into the ropes but Styles jumped over the top rope with a Swanton dive onto Taka.
Back in the ring, Styles climbed up to the top, but before he could execute anything, Taka was up on the apron to trip his foot. Yang climbed up to the top with Styles and was about to hit a Hurricanrana, but Styles grabbed hold of Yang's legs, stepped over his arms and pulled off a second rope Styles Clash. Styles then turned Yang over and before Taka could break the count, the referee had reached three!
Winner, and new JGP Champion: AJ Styles
Aftermath:
Miss Ronnie Stephens rolled into the ring and hugged AJ Styles who was all overcome with emotion as he clutched onto the newly won Cruiserweight title. Jamie Noble then walked out onto the stage and slowly clapped his tag team partner, but he didn't seem overly pleased with AJ's accomplishment. END OF SHOW!
