Straight out the shoot, the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle made his way out to the ring for his upcoming match with Rey Mysterio. The match was made after Kurt cost Mysterio his match against Shelton Benjamin last week, after Angle Slamming him onto the protective matting at ringside. Before the match got underway, Kurt requested to be handed a microphone as he had something he needed to say.

"Rey, I'd just like you to know that what I did last week was in no way a personal attack at you, but it was simply a protest against the people holding me, Kurt Angle, down. Now that's out of the way, we can have ourselves a great match for all of these fans to enjoy, and I just want to wish you the best of luck".

Rey Mysterio then made his entrance to the ring, a little less energetic than usual, as he was holding his back which was obviously still aggravating him from last week. Once in the ring, Rey was offered a handshake from Kurt, but when he went to do so, Kurt took his hand back and clotheslined Mysterio down to the canvas.

Singles Contest
Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio

  • Kurt pulled Mysterio from the mat and threw him into the corner, where he continued the brutal assault with several furious right closed fists. The referee warned Angle, but he wasn't paying much attention. Kurt pulled Rey towards him, and threw him across the ring with a huge Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Rey tried to get back to his feet, but Kurt kicked him back down in the head with the heel of his boot.

  • After a snapmare takedown, Kurt began to take Mysterio's mask off, but Rey fought out from under Kurt and managed to keep the mask on. Rey attempted an irish whip, but Kurt countered that and sent Rey into the ropes. On his return, Mysterio ducked under Kurt's clothesline, springboarded from the second rope and caught Kurt with a Crossbody, pinning him only for a two count before Kurt kicked out.

  • A stunned Kurt Angle staggered back to his feet. Rey jumped up onto his shoulders and with a Headscissor takedown, Kurt was thrown onto the second rope. Rey then attempted a 6-1-9, but Kurt grabbed Rey's Ankle and pulled him back into the ring. Even with the Ankle Lock applied, Rey was able to reach the ropes, however Kurt wasn't willing to break the hold, so the referee had to throw the match out.

    Winner, by Disqualification: Rey Mysterio

    Aftermath:

With the match ending, that just seemed to anger Kurt more so. The ring was soon filled with referees and road agents, all trying to pull Kurt away from Mysterio, who was screaming in agony by this point. Soon Kurt did release Mysterio from his grip, who then rolled up into a ball, clutching onto his near broken ankle. The referees all screamed at Angle and told him to make his way to the back.

    Backstage:

Inside Chris Benoit's locker room, the World Heavyweight Champion was sitting down taping up his wrists when Tommy Dreamer walked in and sat beside him.

"Hey man, thanks for bringing me in. Last week, the response I got from the crowd was amazing, it brought it all back, man. I mean, I've missed this. But tonight, we've got CM Punk and Rhino, but I was kind of hoping to get my hands on Raven again, because throughout my career, there has been nobody I've enjoyed beating the hell out of than Raven. Do you think I'll be able to do that by the end of tonight?"

Benoit smirked and slapped Tommy across the back.

"If there has been anything I've learnt about Raven over the past seven months, it's that he's never too far away. Even though our match is against Punk and Rhino, I could almost guarentee you that Raven will get himself invovled somehow, so just give it time, and you'll get your wish. Oh, and it's good to have you back".

    Backstage:

Heading off of AJ Styles' victory last week in the Four Corners match against Bubba Ray Dudley, Lance Storm and Petey Williams, America's White Trash have never looked more confident in themselves. Standing with Mean Gene, the former Tag Team Champions had some things they felt needed to be said.

"Awww Mean Gene, things are looking good, looking real good for yours truly. I mean, I'm Jamie "Bah God" Noble, you would think that things were always good, wouldn't you? But after watching my good friend here, AJ Styles, heck, they don't call him the Phenomenal one for nothing. Last week he brushed everyone aside like the trash that they are. Speaking of trash, as of tonight, as of when we become the first team ever to win the GWA Global Tag Team Championshipships for a second time, we're moving on up! Moving out of our trailer and moving in to one of those fancy places that have two floors, a garden, and no wheels! Mean Gene, it's going to be sweet!"

Noble was unable to contain his joy, and he ended the interview by hugging Mean Gene and kissing him ontop of his bald head.

"Oh, and Gene, that don't mean I'm one of them gays!"

    Junior Grand Prix Championship
Champion, Jimmy Yang vs. "Prince of Punk" Shannon Moore

  • Shannon Moore charged over to Yang to start the match, but Yang quickly ducked back out of the ring to avoid contact. Moore jumped out of the ring and began to chase Yang until he was caught off guard by a clothesline from Taka who had been hiding behind the announce table. Yang then rolled Moore into the ring to start the match with a pin attempt, but to no surprise, Moore kicked out before two.

  • Yang whipped Moore into the ropes, but Moore ducked under the clothesline, hit the ropes and knocked Yang down with a jumping calf kick. Moore then forced Yang into the corner, climbed the ropes and performed the ten count punch as the crowd counted along. Yang shoved Moore away, but Moore flipped through, landing on his feet and caught Yang on the chin with a standing dropkick.

  • Moore pulled Yang up to his feet, and attempted to throw him into the corner, but Yang countered. Moore then countered the counter by jumping by springboarding off the second ropeinto a dropkick, but Yang ducked and the referee took the move. Taka then slid into the ring, low blowed Moore and hit him with the Michinoku Driver. Yang covered Moore, and when the referee recovered, he counted the three.

Winner, and still JGP Champion: Jimmy Yang

    Backstage:

A long limo pulled up outside the arena, and when the driver eventually made his way to the back door and opened it, Randy Orton stepped out to a chorus of boos. Randy told the driver to fetch his bags, but Steve Austin walked onto the scene and told the driver not to bother. Whilst Steve Austin tried to speak to Orton, Randy didn't seem like he was paying too much attention, as all his focus was on Ms. Keibler.

"Randy, I need you to focus for a minute, just for me. Next week you have a match against Chris Jericho, and if.. when you win, you'll be next in line for a shot at the Heavyweight Championship. Now this joke of Chris Benoit's title reign has gone on for long enough, and I don't exactly think that Raven will be a Champion that will, well, work with the management very well, if you see my point. So next week's match is all the more important. I need you to be focused, and at 100%, because I need you to become the next World Heavyweight Champion. So don't worry about tonight, go home, rest up, and make sure you arrive next week safe and sound."

Steve paused and waiting for a response, but Orton was still transfixed by Steve's assistant, Ms. Keibler. Steve grew impatient and began waving his hand infront of Randy's eyes, and suddenly Randy shook himself out of the trance.

"Er.. yeah, sure Steve, no problem. I'll ger right onto that, but first, I think I need to get a bite to eat, and speaking of which, how about you come and join me Stacy!"

Randy winked at Stacy, put his arm around her shoulder and walked into the arena, walking past Steve Austin who was left with his head in his hands.

    Backstage:

A camera searched throughout the dark depths of the arena in search of where the laughing was coming from. Someone, somewhere was having a good, long, hard gut-laugh. Finally, the cameras caught up with the culprit, and it was Raven alongside his two lackeys, CM Punk and Rhino. Raven almost couldn't stop himself from laughing to conduct the interview, wiping away the tears.

"You know what Benoit, this feud has been going on for a long time, and it has taken it's toll on the both of us, believe me. So I thank you, because bringing back Tommy Dreamer was just the thing I needed to cheer me up. I mean, did you really think that he would be able to get inside my head? Do you realise how many times, and for how many years I beat him up for a living? I never lost a nights sleep, and I never will over Tommy Dreamer, because he's a joke, just like you Benoit. So you go bring back old friends, you talk your game up all you want, because when the time comes, and the match begins, you have no chance what so ever. Quote the Raven.. Nevermore!"

As the interview came to an end, the camera slowly began to move away from Raven who began stroking and petting Rhino on the top of his head, as if he were a dog.

Four Corners Elimination Global Tag Team Championshipship Contest
Champions, Team Canada vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Impact Players vs. AWT

  • Knowing that they had to be the last team standing, the Champions tried to stay out of harms way by stalking around by ringside. Inside the ring, the confident America's White Trash went straight to work on their former rivals the Impact Players. However the tables were turned as Justin and Lance fought off both men with a number of rights, and then the Dudleys finished the combo with a double clothesline.

  • Styles and Noble were both then dumped out of the ring, both landing on Team Canada. The Dudleys and the Impact Players then turned on one another as the match broke down as every team for themselves. D-Von whipped Justin into the ropes and lifted him up for the 3D, but Lance superkicked Bubba Ray, and Justin DDT'd D-Von. Lance Storm then locked Bubba Ray into the Straight Shooter.

  • Styles tripped Justin Credible and pulled him from the ring as Jamie Noble slid back into the ring and caught Storm with the Shining Wizard whilst holding the submission move on Bubba. Noble then covered Lance Storm to eliminate the Impact Players from the match. Noble then began blowing kisses to Dawn Marie, but the Dudleys snuck up behind him with the 3D to eliminate AWT next.

  • Team Canada slid into the ring and caught the Dudleys from behind. Trish jumped on the apron to take the referee's eye as Eric Young hit D-Von with a hockey stick. Bubba Ray then scooped Young up with the Bubba Bomb. Petey saw the end as he set D-Von up for the Canadian Destroyer, but D-Von lifted Petey up with a back body drop, but Bubba caught Petey in the 3D to win the grueling contest.

Winners, and new Tag Team Champions: Dudley Boyz

    Aftermath:

The Dudleys hugged in the centre of the ring, overwhelmed that they had won another set of Tag Team belts in their illustrious careers. From out of nowhere, a pair of hooded strangers entered the ring from opposite sides and attacked the Dudleys with steel chairs, brutally taking them down to the canvas. One of the hooded men launched D-Von across the ring with a release German Suplex, and then boosted the other up into the air to perform a Corkscrew Splash onto Bubba Ray. One man then demanded a microphone, stood over Bubba Ray Dudley, and removed his hood to reveal Jack Evans. His associate removed his to be Roderick Strong. Evans leaned into Bubba Ray Dudley, getting right into his face.

"You just got knocked the FUCK OUT!"

As the announcers frantically attempted to apologise for the use of language, Evans slapped Bubba Ray across the face, and then left with Strong looking back towards the ring as the referee tried to help the Dudleys back to their feet.

    Backstage:

Randy Orton was seen leaving the arena, thanking his lucky stars and patting himself on the back after getting Stacy Keibler's phone number. He said that he needed to celebrate with a night on the town, and he even invited the camera man along, just so he could see a real Playboy in person working his magic. The two of them climbed into the back of the limo, and when they closed the doors, the doors instantly locked.

"Hey man, what's the deal? I pay your wages, remember? Don't you dare even think of treating me like a prisoner, or I'll send you back across the river back to Mexico!"

The driver didn't say a word which forced Randy to pick up the phone and to give the driver a piece of his mind.

"Look here you little piece of crap, you better unlock..."

Randy then dropped the phone with a look of shock and fear pasted across his face. The camera man asked Randy what the problem was, but he was speechless. He then sat back in his chair and pressed the button to lower the partition, and when it did, Chris Jericho was sitting there with a driver's cap on.

"Hey Randle! Where would you like to go today? What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? Well we'll soon fix that. And since you have the night off tonight, we need you to work up a sweat because we wouldn't want you to go into next week's match cold, now would we? Buckle up Junior, because it's going to be a bumpy ride!"

With that, Jericho turned back to the steering wheel, started up the limo and drove out of the arena, cackling to himself as Randy Orton suddenly began to scream.

    Backstage:

Mean Gene was back at his interview post awaiting the next superstar to walk by. He then introduced to the camera, a former North American, and World Tag Team Champion, the "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. Daniels entered the scene, and as always, he was accompanied by fellow Oracle members, Austin Aries and Alison Danger. Mean Gene mentioned that Daniels had seen what Kane could not only do, but also take in the way of punishment, so he wanted to know how he was going to fair in his match next week with the "Big Red Monster" Kane.

"Firstly, I'd just like to say that we haven't seen anything from Kane that has impressed me yet. Sure, he's had a couple of lucky moments, but so what? He wants to set microphones on fire, explode monitors, sure, that all looks impressive, but it doesn't actually tell me what he can do when he's inside the ring. However, I have shown you everything and so much more. Like you said, I'm no stranger to gold, and so I'm definately going into this match as the favourite, whether you like to admit it or not. Fact of the matter is, I am guarenteeing victory next week, and if it needs to be done, then I will fight fire with fire. And that was the Gospel according to the Fallen Angel!"

Daniels gave an evil stare into the camera and then thrusted the microphone into Mean Gene's chest, knocking him back into the set. The Oracle then stepped over Gene and left the scene, sounding possibly too confident for their own good.

    Inside the Arena:

The lights went out inside of the arena, and then they returned with a pink filter added to them. Suddenly "Copa Cabana" began to play and the man himself, 'Classic' Colt Cabana made his way down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans on his way. Colt searched around the ring, looking under the apron, under the ring announcer's chair, but he obviously couldn't find what he was looking for. Colt pointed over the ring announcer's shoulder, and when he turned his head, Colt snatched the microphone from out his hand and slid under the bottom rope to enter the ring.

"Oh yeah... yeah, yeah! I bet you all thought that you were going to have to go home unsatisfied without seeing the main-event, the man you all came to see, me, Colt Cabana, but fear not as I have arrived. However, I seem to remember Christian inviting me onto his 'Peep Show' this week, but I can't seem to find him anywhere, and with the main-event match about to begin, I got so worried that I was going to miss this opportunity, that I just had to come out here myself to find out the truth!"

Colt's attention was then stolen by Tazz who was sitting at ringside, commentating on the show as he does each week. Colt tried to continue but his eyes kept going back to Tazz who was beginning to wonder what was going on.

"Tazz, I'm so glad that I finally got the chance to speak to you. And since it's obvious that Christian isn't going to show up for his own 'Peep Show', why don't you hop into the ring and you can be my very special guest here on an impromptu edition of 'Good Times, Great Memories'. Would you do that for me, Tazz?"

At first, Tazz didn't know what to think, but after having a quick word with his broadcast partner, Jim Ross, Tazz removed his headset and climbed into the ring.

"Welcome to the show Tazz, and thanks for joining me. Even though I didn't really expect this situation to occur, I actually have several questions on my mind, so would you mind if I fired some off right now? Great! Firstly, I'm a big fan of yours, always have, always will be. My first question is, ever since you started out in ECW working for Paul Heyman, firstly as the Tazmaniac, and then just Taz, even back when you broke your neck and had to take a full year off with pay.. I mean, going way back when you were the 'Human Suplex Machine', was your favourite colour always orange?"

The crowd laughed at Colt's unorthodox line of questioning. Tazz was about to answer the question with a grin on his face, but Colt didn't even give him a chance as he pulled the microphone away from Tazz's face.

"But seriously, back in ECW you worked in a Bingo Hall. Now, I just gotta ask you, did you ever have to call the numbers? 'Two fat ladies, eighty-eight!'?"

Just as the fun began, Christian climbed from the crowd and entered the ring, but before he could sneak attack Colt, Tazz pointed over Colt's shoulder and so Colt was able to turn around and catch Christian in the act. Christian stopped dead in his tracks, slipping on the canvas and falling onto his ass. Embarrassed from what just happened, Christian rolled back out of the ring and made his way to the back.

"Did I just see that? Did I just see Christian, 'Captain Charisma' fall straight onto his ass? Now I don't know about you, but that certainly was 'Good Times, Great Memories' and I've been your host, 'Classic' Colt Cabana.

"Copa Cabana" began playing again as Colt shook Tazz's hand before allowing him to return to his broadcast position. Christian was still standing at the top of the stage with a pissed off look on his face. Colt was loving the situation and waved at Christian, even blowing him a kiss just to make Christian feel so much better.

    Backstage:

The "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe was sitting backstage watching a tape of his vicious attack on Shawn Michaels from several weeks back. Once the tape was finish, he would rewind it and watch it again, with his smile growing with every watch of the attack. Suddenly the locker room door burst open and Shawn Michaels ran at Joe with a steel chair and cracked it across his forehead. When Joe fell to the ground, Michaels didn't relent, and he mounted him, following up with several closed fists to the forehead, opening up the wound. With Joe's blood on his hands, Michaels stood up and looked at the dent he had created on the steel chair.

"Whatever you do, it will always come back to haunt you. So how does it feel to taste your own blood? It isn't very nice is it? Now listen up you son of a bitch, if you want my title, then you're going to have to pry it out of my cold, dead hand."

Michaels kicked Joe in the head and left the locker room, leaving Joe in an ever increasing pool of his own blood. EMTs who had been alerted of the incident rushed to the aid of Joe. They all told him take it easy, but Joe grabbed one of them by the collar of his shirt, and told him a message to pass onto Shawn Michaels.

"You tell him that if I have to kill him to get the title, then he best go to church on Sunday and recieve his last rights!"

    Tag Team Contest
CM Punk and Rhino vs. World Champion, Chris Benoit and Tommy Dreamer

  • Tommy Dreamer made his triumphant return to the ring, tagging with the World Champion, Chris Benoit. They teamed up quite well as they started strongly against Raven's henchmen. Once the match has settled down, Punk and Rhino were able to isolate Dreamer in their corner, and took the advantage with a very stiff looking Spinebuster from Rhino and quick tags between the two of them.

  • Rhino tried to end the match with his Gore, but Dreamer was able to dive out of the way, sending Rhino hard into the ringpost. Dreamer then made the hot tag to Benoit who stormed into the ring with knife edge chops and multiple German Suplexes. Dreamer returned to take Punk out of the match as Benoit climbed up to the top rope and connected with his Swandive Headbutt to give his team the victory.

Winners: Chris Benoit and Tommy Dreamer

    Aftermath:

As soon as the three count had gone down, the lights went out in the arena and Raven's music blasted through the PA system. Dreamer's face lit up with excitement as he and Benoit lined up against the ropes awaiting Raven's entrance. They didn't need to wait long as Raven showed up on the stage and slowly began to walk down to the ring with an expressionless face. With both men distracted by Raven, CM Punk and Rhino once again jumped both men from behind. Punk hit Benoit with a vicious looking backbreaker, as Rhino finally hit his Gore on Tommy Dreamer. As Dreamer and Benoit were laid out, Raven entered the ring and began to gouge away at Benoit's head with some kind of blade. As the blood began to pour out of Benoit's forehead, Raven wiped some up on his fingers and wrote "R.I.P" on Benoit's chest. The show ended with Raven, Rhino and CM Punk standing tall and victorious.
